Unruly Phoenix also known as Gabrielle Gilliot raised in Suriname and currently living in Rotterdam the Netherlands. Since her childhood Unruly Phoenix had a great love for music , listening to a wide variety of music she got inspired by deejays like Black Coffee, Martin Garrix , Boris Brejcha, & Surinamese female DJ Futego.

She took a leap of faith and came back to the Netherlands to start with her deejay journey in 2019 During the pandemic she kept practicing at DJ Booth Camp Rotterdam and In 2021 she fell in love with the new genre taking the world by storm “Amapiano” It all started when DJ Waxfiend gave her the opportunity to make her debut at Ziongate Paradiso Amsterdam in 2021. She found her purpose and the rest was history.

You can now find her name at the lineup of almost every Afrolectic party in the Netherlands playing along side other international deejays as Black Coffee, Major League djz, Dbngogo , Waxfiend & Philou Louzolo. Behind the deck is where she feels most a life able to transmute energy with music and share positive vibrations with the crowd.

Unruly Phoenix also started producing and collaborated with South African artist & producers. She released three singles “Voices of Egypt” , S’yabuya & This & That. Unruly Phoenix knows that this is only the beginning of this beautiful journey, With shows confirmed in Berlin, Ibiza, Luxemburg and Switzerland this summer, it’s safe to say that Unruly Phoenix is making big steps in this Industry. She’s definitely carrying the Amapiano culture on her shoulders and spreading it worldwide.
